just more winter
Well, there are 3 things that are certain in life – Taxes, Death, and Bipolar UP weather. After having another nice warmup and thawing, mother nature has come back twice as strong with more wet and heavy snow and ice, extending out winter by another few weeks. On the bright side, it means that some places have been able to keep lifts spinning longer, and for those of you who wanted a little adventure, Mt. Bohemia even opened again for a weekend with all this late season snow.
Looking at the forecast, this snow might (hopefully this time) be the last of it. An upward trend of reaching 50’s for the next 10 days with some rain and right around freezing overnight might just be the final sendoff that we’ve been looking for to winter, and finally start up biking season.
Riding Ready
The weather hasn’t damped any progress here at hobby wheel, as we went right along with our transition into bikes. Now, we’ve got our full lines of bikes and full repair capacity all setup and ready to go, so the day that mother nature decides to give up on snow we’re ready to go. Be sure to stop in sometime and check out all of our bikes!
News from the Trails
News is pretty sparse this week, as our only news, isn’t even out yet. Rocky Mountain is teasing a new (Or refreshed) Bike, Expect a full reveal soon, knowing Rocky Mountain it’s ganna be worth the wait.
After last blog, this one is really short. Partially due to the weather and me taking a much-needed vacation last week, there isn’t much to talk about. Thanks for tuning in anyways,
Happy Adventuring!
